The fair month of June announces with an enormous, turbulent itch felt within and without, courtesy of Uranus having moved into the action-now sign of Aries with Jupiter on its heels, while karmic taskmaster Saturn is stationing direct in opposition. The Jupiter-Uranian energy is pushing relentlessly for expansion, freedom, awakening and disruption; meanwhile the Saturnine spirit heaps on new duties and responsibilities while trying to keep its claws sunk firmly into past privilege and precedent. As of June 2, Mars the cosmic agitator will be in supremely irritating aspect to Saturn, turning up the heat; provoking both the establishment and those who would be in rebellion against it; we are also pushed on an internal level to yield up our deepest personal truths and shadows, even while some of us still mightily resist.
Meanwhile, those invested at higher levels of earthly power will be manfully trying to distract our attention from the man behind the curtain and what he is really doing by mounting huge passion plays of various kinds. They have a really, really big budget devoted to keeping the cattle at a high state of disinformation and anxiety. So if you have moments of feeling supremely ungrounded and confused while your body is vibrating like a tuning fork, don't be surprised. If it overpowers, lie on the ground for awhile or go sit in a water-filled tub; play music that moves you, engage the senses in smell, taste, sound and texture. The ego-mind may not be able to keep up with the intuitional urge to purge, embrace altered perception and gear up on the cellular level to the higher resonances now in effect and continuing to ramp up through August. Expect energies mental and physical to scatter; the rate of disinformation is going to increase exponentially. Suggest keeping great awareness that more than ever, nothing is as it seems. On June 5 expansive Jupiter enters fiery Aries, moving to conjunct with Uranus exact on June 8 at 00°Aries 18'. Jupiter in Aries registers as outspoken and zealous, increasing self-confidence whether deserved or not. Jupiter and Uranus together can translate as a desire to take dangerous risks, speculate where fools fear to tread, indulge in panic buying and selling. Therefore precious metals, currency and certain commodities will likely spike madly up or down in value a couple times this month. Some will be able to seize on sudden opportunities or find new job openings, others will be moved to tear apart obstructions or otherwise overextend themselves. When behaving badly it is hypercritical, detached from compassion and quite capable of sado-masochistic indulgence. Virgo Mars can take the Jupiter-Uranus energy and run with dogmatic zealotry, persecuting and hurting others who carry the projected burden of guilt and shame, or who are merely standing in one's way. Gee, it would be really cool if some powerful agency could effectively wring BP Oil's neck and force radical work to be on the Gulf Oil spill, but such an entity might not exist anymore as there are so many payoffs, these days. On the most basic level, illnesses associated with obstruction or inflammation of the digestive tract, spine and nervous system or various forms of cancer will accelerate if one has not been proactive. The warm, dry and driving Martian force can be used to dedicate self completely to healing if so inclined, however on June 7 Mars in early Virgo will be in quincunx to Uranus and Jupiter at 00°Aries and minutes, signaling another crisis point of discord, crisis and non-compliance, whether in the body or out in the world.
On June 8 planetoid Juno enters Cancer, which puts great value on taking formal action on behalf of nature, family and nurturing activities in general; anciently, the cardinal sign of Cancer also rules wanderers and sailors, besides being a co-ruler of water with Pisces and Scorpio. Perhaps an international partnership effort will arise to help mop up the poisons now invading the coast of Louisiana and Florida. On the same day Mars still in early Virgo will be in opposition to Chiron in Pisces retrograde, signaling that real energy and action is being brought to bear on corralling what is now an enormous mess, but this environmental crisis and other political global hot points now under stress could increase in amplitude and even spin out of control, such as in the case of provocative actions taken by North Korea, which is actually a satellite country of China. Note that both Pakistan and North Korea have been repeatedly been bought off with millions of US dollars in the past; why Dorothy, it gets so hard to tell where Kansas really is.
Mercury enters Gemini on June 9, which should help us lighten up, think more objectively, reason logically and to speak with more fluid grace. Under the current influences, however, one should expect scattered energy, superficial band-aids being applied to honking huge abysses and above all, lots and lots of spin from the media thundering loud and signifying nothing.
On June 12 a New Moon of beginnings shines at 21°Gemini 23'. The lunation has a cheerful, lightweight air, supportive of a sparkling social life and feelings of easy fellowship with new partners. In a chart erected for Washington DC, Koch houses, the lunation resides in the twelfth house of secret activities, bondage and karma, in a wide, friendly trine to Neptune (oil companies and big pharma) in the ninth house of foreign countries and establishment institutions; also in square to Saturn (tiresome problems) therefore likely not in easy agreement with the local folk.
Mercury (communications) is making aspects to Neptune (deception), Chiron retro (powerlessness), Mars (ambition), Saturn (loss, limitation) and Pluto retro (mass movements), apt symbolism for two-faced verbiage being dished out via the legislative branches. It can't be affirmed that anyone will be making much concrete sense, as a Yod or finger of fate is forming at the same time with Neptune (illusion, propaganda), Venus (luxury, financial industries) and Saturn (authority, loss, karma), reinforcing an ice-cream party of turmoil, disinformation and duplicity directed from the highest levels (Pisces-Neptune ruling on the Midheaven). On a personal level we will have problems actually hearing what is being said or saying anything much that smacks of common sense.

It's a great time to get ardent in love and fill your social calendar, but watch out for a tendency to dominate in friendship or romance as that sort of behavior will not wash well now. The urge to entertain or be entertained, impress or be impressed goes up several notches, along with the urge to risk and speculate.
